摘要:

字母s附着在某些名词、动词、形容词、方位词以及个别零散的单词后面会具有各种各样 的含义,且用法也较为复杂,不易掌握,从而对单词的正确拼写和使用造成一定的难度。因此,对 字母s在词尾的特殊含义这一问题进行了较为详尽地探析,并列举许多例句加以阐明,以便对 英语学习者有一定的借鉴作用。

Abstract:

The letter s, attached to some nouns, verbs, adjectives, nouns of locality and so on,often has different meanings and its usage is rather puzzling, thus diffcult to master and spell correctly.There has been a detailed discussion on it,illustrated by a number of examples, to which reference can be had for the English learners.
