Abstract:
In order to further explore the construction of the academic system, discourse system and discipline system of the film theory system with contemporary Chinese characteristics, on the basis of summarizing the complex academic relations of aesthetics, art, film art, film science and film aesthetics, this paper analyzes the system framework of film industry aesthetics, reflects on the discipline construction thoughts of film industry aesthetics, and discusses the theoretical basis and structural layout characteristics of the theoretical system structure of film industry aesthetics. According to the research, the film industry aesthetics is a “Chinese-style” film theory system rooted in the contemporary Chinese reality and the soil of the film industry in the academic background of international film academic theory, the exploration and practice of the development of China's film industry since the reform and opening up, and the summary and promotion of new film concepts and production principles. The academic construction of the film industry aesthetics adheres to the Chinese tradition and faces the challenges and problems of film production and creation, system operation, pattern ecology, and degree of industrialization. It not only relies on philosophy, art, aesthetics, film science and other disciplines, academics, and theories, but also builds on the realistic problems of film development and the creation, production, and industrial conditions of filmmakers. It enriches and reconstructs Chinese film theory in the “dual tension” of theory/practice, inheritance/innovation, tradition/present, foreign/local, industry/aesthetics, and art/commerce. In the context of the current era of new liberal arts construction and Chinese modernization, the thoughts, exploration and contention in film industry aesthetics have focused on the self-consciousness of scholars on the discipline construction of film science and film aesthetics. It has considerable significance in academic frontier and discipline construction, and is an organic component of the Chinese film school.
