Abstract:
Morality is a kind of normative power in the achievement of social enlightenment and governance and the maintenance of the social order. What is more, it is an indispensible part of people's daily life. There is no life without morality and morality is the most important guarantee for human's happiness. Among the three value resources guiding the contemporary Chinese spiritual life, the weakening of the influence of main moral on Chinese people is increasingly prominent.Western moral has played a positive role of enlightenment in nearly a hundred years, at the same time it also has produced many negative effects.Chinese traditional morality is an important factor which influences and adjusts the contemporary Chinese life. Therefore, we should pursuit happiness and living security in Chinese traditional morality. For people's happy life, we must carry forward the traditional morality such as the national spirit of “self-discipline and great virtue”, the value of justice, collectivity-oriented concept, the basic spirits and the core virtue.
