Abstract:
Based on analyzing the duality of traffic demand, this paper discusses the root and feasibility of travelling demand management(TDM)and explains the intensions and the principles of TDM. After analyzing the basic theories, the initial policy frame is put forward, which is benefitial to the feasibility development of urban transportation management.
