- Abstract:
- There are multiple meanings in the numerals of DU Fu’s poems: firstly, the total number of poem groups shows the universality and particularity of number; secondly, special attention was paid to the digital reign title which is full of his poems; thirdly, he used lots of numerals in his poetry to record An-Shi Rebellion and the truth of history afterwards. These figures are full of feelings and desires as well as the aspirations for the future. The reality and the poetization of these figures constitute the special landscape of Du Fu’s poems and reflect his broad and deep style.
