- Adult family education is the activities through which adults with specific family relationships who live in the same family improve each family member’s physical and psychological quality as well as the whole family’s wellbeing by learning and communicating with each other. Adult family education is family education, but it is different from the juvenile family education; adult family education is adult education, but it is also different from the adult school education. Adult family education has its own characteristics, considering the social status of the the educators and the educated and the relations between the educators and the educated, its specific education goal, content, method and its connection with the outside world. Adult family education has functions of promoting occupational ability, ensuring psychological support, enhancing family happiness and constructing a harmonious society. Government and the society should strengthen the research and guidance on adult family education.
