- On the basis of analyzing the connotation of the basic public education service system, the article probes into the current situation of the construction of basic public education system in China: the yearly increasing investment in education finance, and the rapid development of urban and rural education, help to form perfect basic public education service system initially, but there is still a certain gap compared with education in developed countries; and after exploring the main problems in the construction of the basic public education service system, it puts forward the corresponding countermeasures: to increase investment in basic public education services, to the allocate educational resources reasonably, to adjust the structure of education supply, to implement the principle of equal education opportunities, and to encourage the development of vocational education.
