Abstract:
In order to train the shuijun(waterborne troops)to fight against the army from Dianguo and Nanyue, the Kunmingchi Lake, excavated in high period of Emperor Hanwudi, was always playing the practical role in training the shuijun, supplying the water for the urban daily life and shipping. Meanwhile, it was also a famous scenery spot for the noblemen and the writers. To the present time, it has quite abundant cultural connotation and is also taken as the influential place in the cultural history of China.
