Abstract:
This paper analyzes the essence of the time value of travelling based on the micro perspective in choosing of transport methods by travellers such as time, economy and feeling. This paper also studies the structure of the travelling time value by considering complete economic interest correlation, complete economic interest incorrelation and partial economic interest correlation of specific traveller. At last, this paper discusses the principle for choosing transportation methods by travellers by the use of the two issues studied before. The common choosing of the transportation methods by six different traveller groups is divided by the time value of travelling and the correlation of travelling interest.
