Abstract:
There was temporary economy prosperity in the Middle East during medieval times. For instance, areas of cultivated land had expanded, agricultural techniques had been innovated, commerce had kept superiority, handicraft industry including textile industry, papermaking and glassmaking had made progress. The economy in the Middle East had taken on these features: first,importance to farming, livestock snd commerce was equally attached; second, economic action was controlled by Islamic economy thoughts; third, economy developmentwas not in balancc in different regions; forth, the economy of the Middlc East belonged generally to category of extensive management and serf-sufficiency.
