Abstract:
As a trend of thought of modern literature and aesthetics, Freudianism has a great influence on those modern westernwriters.Freudian psychology is a scientific study and an analysis about the subconscious activities of human beings. During the lateryears,many writers worked on the Freudianism and applied it to theirwriting practice.Forexample,the appearance of D.H.Lawrence,James Joyce andVirginiaWoolf[three famous representatives of modern English literature] and their works marked the coming of the high tide of novel creation of English modernism.
