摘要:
为研究中国传统文化中蕴含的自由思想和自由精神，从儒家、道家、佛教的角度进行阐释。研究认为，儒家主张用礼规范个人的行为，追求“从心所欲不逾矩”， 所讲的自由是有限制的自由；道家最能体现自由精神，既有对精神自由的不懈追求，也有对生命自由的终极探寻；佛教重在弘扬生命的主体性，强调不能为了自己的自由而妨碍他人的自由；由此发现中国传统文化中的自由精神与西方遵从道德法则、主动和被动的自由等自由思想存在相通之处。
Abstract:
This paper studied spirit of freedom and modern enlightenment in Chinese traditional culture from the perspectives of Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. The results show that Confucianism proposes using manners to regulate individuals behavior, pursuing “do as one pleases but not go beyond rules”, which is a kind of limited freedom; Taoism emphasizes freedom most, both pursuing spirit of freedom and exploring ultimate life freedom; Buddhism advocates developing the subjectivity of life, stressing that one should not hinder others freedom for his own freedom. Its discovered that the spirit of freedom in Chinese traditional culture has something in common with Western freedom such as obeying moral laws, active and passive freedom, and so on. 
