Abstract:

The biggest difference between the self of the Chinese and the West is that the self is built on the Chinese traditional culture, and the connotation of self is broader, including person and self of relationship. The self-realization is based on the traditional culture and is achieved through the ren. It is considered to be the virtues, wisdom and blessing. Through the analysis of a series of thinking of ren, this paper proposes an idea of greatness after the ren to reveal the real connotation of Chinese people.
