摘要:
科技文献的标题为科技人员检索文件时提供首要的信息。科技文献的标题就是原文献的标 题,是高度概括文献主题和中心思想的短语。为了使汉语标题的英译起到“一叶知秋”的作用,指出 了汉语标题的英译中需要特别注意的几个方面,以便于科技人员在翻译的过程中参考与借鉴。
Abstract:
The title of a scientific and technological paper serves as the primary information for retrieval. And itis usually the title of the original paper, a phrase highly generalizing the paper's subject and main idea. To take the effect that a small sign can indicate a great trend, some points concerning the translation of the title from Chinese into English are discussed in this paper for the translators' convenience of reference in the process of translation.
