摘要:: 随着现代化进程的深入，宗教的社会性及其功能愈来愈发展，逐渐成为独立于政治和市场之外的独立的社会力量。在当下中国，多元宗教呈现出明显的社会性特征。首先，宗教组织正在成长为社会建设中的重要主体，这使“政府放权、宗教接力”成为一种可能；其次，当代中国宗教组织在实际运行中逐渐发展出服务社会的强大功能，这为它本身成为社会建设中的主体又奠定了现实的基础。这就要求在社会建设和社会治理的新阶段,进一步发挥宗教的社会作用，使“政府放权，宗教接力”成为一种现实。

Abstract:: With the deepening of the modernization process, religion becomes an independent social force independent of politics and market. In the present China, multiple religions display several obvious social features. First of all, religious organizations are growing into important subjects in the social construction, which makes the “government decentralization and religious relay” become possible; secondly, the contemporary Chinese religious organizations in the actual operation are gradually gaining a powerful function of serving society, which lays an actual foundation for becoming the main subjects in social construction. It requires that in the new stage of social construction and social governance, we should fully display the social function of religion, making “government decentralization and religious relay” come into a reality.
