摘要:
采用理论研究与历史个案分析相结合的方法分析文明交往的历史经验与策略。分析认为, 坚持文明交往的开放性,善于平衡不同文明间的矛盾,加强文化艺术交流和商贸往来,有利于促进 各种文明间的交往;反之,强势文明与弱势文明之间的不平等交往,交往中民族主体意识的迷失,或 极端民族主义都有害于文明交往。分析结果表明,正确的文明交往策略是以开放的胸襟对待外来 文明,要注意保持本土文明的特色,在全球化时代,尤其要注意处理好外来文明和本土文明的关系。
Abstract:
Contact among civilizations serves as the important driving force for human progress. The historical experience proves its benefits in promoting the exchanges between different cultures through persistence of openness, balance of diversities and enhancement of cultural and business activities. However, it harms contact among civilizations when the unequal exchange between strong culture and weak culture and when the loss of national consciousness, and ultranationalism occur. The appropriate strategy of contact among civilizations can be extrapolated to treating foreign civilizations with broad-mindedness, while remaining the characteristics of local civilization. In the age of globalization, more emphasis shall be placed into the treatment between foreign culture and local culture.
