Abstract:
To explore the impact of sharing economy on the community in depth, a field survey was carried out by taking Airbnb in Shanghai as an example, and the characteristics of the distribution of Airbnb in Shanghai were summarized on the basis on the analysis of the 5502 housing data of Airbnb official network in Shanghai. In the community where Airbnb houses were more concentrated, a social survey was adopted to study the impact of the development of Airbnb on the community. The research found that Airbnb has been developing rapidly in Shanghai, which shows a decreasing trend from the central urban area to the surrounding area. The convenience of transportation and the housing source with Shanghai’s style are paid attention to by the consumers; the research on the Airbnb houses centralized community shows that influence factors of Airbnb on the community are concentrated on the types of community where the house in located, the personal qualities of tourists and the purpose of renting, etc.At present, the impact of Airbnb on the community is generally small, and it hasn’t yet aroused the opposition of the community residents; for this form of sharing accommodation, community residents are more concerned about the possible negative impacts and problems on community conflict, security and environment, and they have a positive attitude towards promoting community awareness and image; management institutions and Airbnb should jointly establish systems, or use technical means to avoid potential social risks or environmental safety problems for community residents.
