Abstract:
Chinese civilization has a long history and has created rich civilization achievements and wisdom, in which there are profound philosophical reflections and systematic explorations on the universe, the world, the society, and life, which have formed the cosmic, universal, social, and moral concepts of Chinese civilization. In order to explore the cultural roots and civilizational heritage of Chinese modernization, to provide historical confidence and civilizational support for the new form of human civilization, and to explore the organic combination of the ideological essence of Chinese civilization and Marxism, the study concludes that the cosmology of Chinese civilization, with its core connotation of “unity of man and nature”, unceasing birth and harmonious coexistence, the worldview, with its core connotation of the world is a public place, preaching of faith and cultivation of harmony, being kind to one’s neighbors, the social outlook with its core connotation of the people are the foundation of the state, reforming the old and introducing the new, and appointing people on the basis of merit, the ethical outlook, with its core connotation of continuous self-improvement, carrying things in one’s bosom, and governance with virtues. The moral concept of Chinese civilization has a high degree of ideological compatibility with the cosmic, global, social and moral concepts of Marxism.
