Abstract:
In order to study the development of Guangxi port along the maritime Silk Road and the Southwestern transportation and trade in Song Dynasty, the management of trading places in Guangxi coastal and board areas, such as Qinzhou, Lianzhou, Yongping village and Hengshan village, and the trade at home and broad were discussed. Besides, it was assumed that war horses were bought in large quantities from Yunnan area as a result of military necessity, which makes the Southwestern land transportation “the buying horse road of Dali” interconnect with the trading places at Guangxi coastal ports and expand the trading scope of the maritime Silk Road. In addition, the opening market system driven by Guangxi port was formed in Southwestern areas.
