- From the perspective of industrial structure evolution, this paper discussed the relationship between industrial structure and new urbanization in Shanxi and explored the correlation and causality between them by employing the time series method. The results show that industrial structure advancement have a long-term stable equilibrium relationship with new urbanization, but only employment structure has a causal relationship with and new urbanization, promote each other. But the promotion of production structure to new urbanization is not significant.
