Abstract:
Qinling mountains set up a natural platform for the ancient human intelligence activities. From ancient society to civilization age, the ancient Chinese people had endured the great hardships in pioneer work and overcame all obstacles to promote the social progress, leaving many historical monuments. The mountains and rivers in Qinling area had built an ideal platform for the generals of past dynasties who wanted to make achievements. From JIANG Zi-ya fishing by Pan river at the north foot of Qinling mountains to LU Zang-yong secluding in Zhongnan mountain, “Zhongnan shortcut” was widely praised and Qinling mountains become the pathway for hermits gaining the official position. Qinling area was also the place where Chinese traditional culture gestated and transmitted and gained the reputation “the establishment of Confucianism, the generation of Daoism and the integration of Buddhism”. Besides, Qinling mountains as the geographical dividing line of the south and north China, was not only the site of geographical lifeline, but also the real site of cultural lifeline.
