- Abstract:
- The paper presents the discovery of the Silk Road, and analyzes its cultural connotation, especially on history and culture of the Silk Road, which is the first move to promote “one belt and one road” development strategy. The transnational, diachronic characteristics and cultural diversity highlights the academic value and social effects of the Silk Road research. The paper also adheres to world history and global and comparative perspective, which is the inherent vitality to promote the academic research on the Silk Road and also an important driving force of the current research boom on Silk Road.
