Abstract:
The ancient Silk Road literature is a branch of the Silk Road science. In order to make the process of the Silk Road literature clear, from its origin, evolution to its mature, the researcher attempts to investigate it from such perspectives as philology, comparative theory and propagation science. After investing the literature works and phenomena originated in the countries and areas around the belt of the Silk Road from the PreQin to the Ming and Qing dynasties, the present research finds that the formation and development of the Silk Road literature has its own special historic and geographical background, and in terms of its particularity, it can be generally divided into seven categories: prose, poetry, rap, drama, novel, myth and legend, and others. The sorting and study of the ancient Silk Road literature are of special significance to the literature of China and the world.
