- The authors analyzed the social and historical conditions for the formation of Xiangshan’s Mind Studies. LU Xiang-shan’s confident character, strict family education and early ethical practices constituted the main foundation of his behaviour; Mencius thought was the spiritual resources for him to walk into the society. ZHU Xi’s compilation of Jin Si Lu and Si Shu Ji Zhu adapted to the imperial examination and he competed with zen Buddhism theory comprehensively and tried to replace it, this was the reason why Zhu Xi became the highest achievers in researching neo Confucianism in Song dynasty. ZHU Xi emphasized Dao Wen theory, resulting in negligence or weakening to the tradition of honoring moral nature ,that was an implementation conditions to Xiangshans Mind Studies, which was emphasis on tradition of morality and ethical practical care.
