- In view of the crisis and problems of happiness in the modern society, theoretical reason and social reason for its appearance are analyzed in this paper. It is believed that the diversity and the problem about happiness contain insurmountable contradiction and the aggravation of happiness crisis, which is caused by the internal elements, the diversity of the structure, the social development, and the idea and philosophy about social activities. The results indicate that there are several aspects that shall be paid attention to, in order to get out of the dilemma of the happiness crisis. These aspects are the cherishing of the intrinsic value of life, appropriate abstinence, and harmonious relationship with others.
