Abstract:
Early planning, overall layout and detailed planning design patterns were used for creative design of Chengchi highway characteristic landscapes. Through questionnaire, data summary, sorting results and quantitative comparison, widely recognized points related to local culture were recognized and the landscape elements were extracted. Chengchi highway characteristic landscapes were divided into four theme cultural landscape areas and they were “emperor garden”, “eco-tour”, “natural painting” and “Manchu and Mongolian nationality flavor” according to geographical conditions and characteristics of different landscapes. Emphasis on the creative designs of tunnel entrances, toll gates and service areas showed the historical charm of the Manchu culture so as to fullfill the integral innovative ideas of landscape, tourism and ecology.
