Abstract:
From the perspective of the subjects of the care, this paper explores the characteristics and problems of the four main sorts of care: self-care, spouse-care, younger-generation-care and housemaid-care. Policies on both burden-reduction and empowerment are recommended regarding to the de-veloping trend of the aging to improve their care qualities, and to promote healthy aging. The study has found that the conflicts of children and their spouses on the care of the oldest old, the conflicts of children's work, the raise of next generation and the care of the oldest old, and intergenerational conflicts in value and lifestyle have caused multiple pressures to the younger-generation-care. Besides, non-professional, and mobility of the housemaid, and the huge differences in the living world between them and the oldest old can also cause a lot of conflicts.
