Abstract:
The author observed the newly-emerged management of commerce in the cities of Song Dynasty by means of documents analyasis. The paper indicates that the city, as the important carrier of social life, gained unpre-cedented development in Song Dynasty. The open pattern of city boosted the boom of population and the development of business, but at the same time brought many new problems such as Yaren, guild and stumers.The finding shows that the government of Song was not restained by traditions. On the contrary, it created a series of efficient management,which had great influence on later generations.
