Chinese dak originated from Zhou Dynasty and it acted as an important role for strength-ening the contact between central and local governments and keeping thefeudatorial control. As for the dak in Ming Dynasty, it became more advanced, compared with that in the Tang, Song and Yuan Dyn-asties. Because they were inherited anddeveloped from those. As northern Shaanxi was local boundary, its dak wasfully developed and formed in the traffic web. This dak traffic web kept border area stable, improved the economic flourishing in the area and promoted national amalgamation between Han and Mongolian.
