Abstract:
To explore influence of Zhuangzi's ideas to Taoism, by thoroughly analyzing related documents and in connection with Taoism's practice, the authors find: the ideas of Qi and Wang in Zhuangzi exert an influence on the establishment of Taoism Chong-Xuan theory; the life preserving idea of Zhuangzi as Yuan-Du, holding the Yi, the Shen maintenance, body guidance, have become the training method for Taoism; the ideas of immortal and jumby in Zhuangzi absorbed by Taoism, lay a foundation for the spirit of Taoism. From the analysis, Zhuangzi's ideas are theoretical origin, indicating the deep connection between Zhuangzi and Taoism.
