Abstract:
This paper classifies the manifestations of socialrisks and demonstrates the function of the mass media in resolving the social risks by the case analysis. According to the above analysis, the authors believe that it is necessary to make the best use of the mass media in resolving the social risks. They also hold that the government should have the right to speak through agenda-setting, and help the mass media deliver the messages to the public effectively and also in time. Perfecting the present regulations and strengthening professional moral construction in media are also the significant aspects in building the risk resolving mechanism.
