Abstract:
Facing the challenges of the urbanization and motorization, the analysis of the changes of traffic demands achieves the public transit priority development. The new ideas of building function-consummated integrated transit system is pointed out. The selection of transport modes is critical in constructing of the system. This paper also offers an ANP-based evaluation to support the decision of the selection for transport modes, including four aspects: technical adaptability, economic benefit, social benefit and sustainable development.
