The content and feelings of Qiaoge can be concluded according to various periods of ZHU's life. In his young age, ZHU's poetries in Ci Form expressed the feelings of exclusive life and ease, so the content of poem in Qiaoge at this stage was focused on love between young boys and girls, the grief of departure, and negation on dignitary. The poetries in Ci Form in Qiaoge written in his middle age embodied strong sadness induced by the shame of the nation, ethical feeling, and migratory life. The poetries in Ci Form in this period were more voluminous in content and sincere in feeling. The poetries in Ci Form in his old age had more elements of coziness and elegancy. Most of poetries in Ci Form in the period focused on enjoyment of flower and plants, drinking and having tea, cruising on rivers, and traveling in mountains. Some of them had strong characteristics of nihilism. Accordingly, the important influence of the thoughts of LAO Zi and ZHUANG Zi on ZHU Dun-ru can be seen.
