Understanding is an important category in the theory of cognition. Cant suggests that
cognition is finished in accordance with the processof“sense——— perception——— ration”.Hegel further
puts forward the cognition process of “ sense——— understanding——— negative ration——— positive
ration”. The cognition process we have adhered to for a long time is from“sense” to“ration”. So the
study of understanding category is ignored and the function and status of understanding stage are paid
no attention to. Thus delays and mistakes have been made in socialist cognition and practice, and the
consequence is that lots of losses result.
