Market approach is one of the assets appraisal methods accepted in the world and
used frequently, but is is not used effectively in China.The status of market approach in the sy-
stem of assets appraisal methods,the precondition and two specical difficulties for application of
it are studied. Its conclusion contributes to appropriate cognition and application of market
approach in the practice of assets appraisal.
