- Abstract:
- To study the formation of the position of Huang Emperor Mausoleum “national sacrificial rites” in Shaanxi Province, this paper analyzed document literature and archaeological material literature, and retrieved the sacrifices to the Huang Emperor in two thousands historys dynasties. The results show that the proposition of Xinzheng as the Huang Emperors hometown may be probably wrong. The hometown of the Huang Emperor should be in loess plateau of the Jinhe River and the Weihe River. The position of Emperor Mausoleum “national worshipping ceremony” formed after long history’s evolution, and is undoubted and irreplaceable.
