- The methods of interverification between poems and history records and literary geography were adopted to present poets experience and description of Shangyu ancient road in Tang Dynasty. The results show that the excavation and the trend of the roads in two sides of Shangshan and Danjiang, the pass and the custom and conditions of the people along the road are recorded by poets in Tang Dynasty, and the historical allusions of the acient road are described. Besides, the solitary and favorable experience of poets are proved. This all makes the road a culture routine in presenting the feeling and experience of prosperious civilization in Tang Dynasty.
