- Based on data from 2005 to 2013 in Shaanxi, this paper calculated the carbon emissions of Shaanxi transportation industry and all modes of transportation from 2005 to 2013. By building LMDI decomposition model, it quantitatively analyzed the impact of transportation energy intensity, transportation structure, and the level of transportation industry development on carbon emissions of Shaanxi transportation industry. The results show that the improvement of energy intensity of transportation inhibits the growth of carbon emissions on Shaanxi transportation industry. Transportation structure has little contribution to the growth of carbon emissions. In addition, the improvement of Shaanxi transportation industry development level is the major factor affecting the growth of carbon emissions.
