- Abstract:
- As a watershed in Yanan literature, Yanan Rectification Movement and Mao Ze-dong’s Speech in the Yan’an Forum on Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as Speech) leads to a dramatic turning point for literary creation and explanation for theoretical discourse. From the comparison of Yan’an literature and art condition before with those after the start of Movement, reportage as a perspective emerges quickly after the Speech published. It not only becomes the crucial literary style to practice Speech which highlight the spirit of “art services for the workers, peasants and soldiers”, but also becomes the important symbol for transition from integration to pluralism of Yan’an literature and art.
