- Abstract:
- On how to recognize and deal with the relations between the organism of people and its surrounding environment to establish a rational ecosystem, Confucian ecological ideology is considered asbeing of vital reference. Confucian ecological ideology is a system which consist of four elements, namely personal ecology, social and historical ecology, natural ecology with spiritual ecology at the core. Oneness of man and nature is the theoretical basis and core of Confucian ecological ideology. The construction of ecological civilization can not lack people or nature. The solution to ecological problems should be based on the human moral of each social member; in the cultivation of humanity, love for things, investigation of things, selfdiscipline and social commitment,slaving to the material comfort; knowing the weather, standing in awe of Heaven, optimism, resigning to fate constitute the main Confucianism ecological cultivation content.
