- Abstract:
- Learning is a basic way to become a saint to the traditional Confucian. Based on the study on learning attitude, purpose, method, and so on, Confucian formed a set of unique learning theory which has important inspiration and reference to the current postgraduate education. First of all, the Confucianism thinks learning is the subject of active productive activity. Either the ancient scholars or graduate students of today should put their enthusiasm and interest into learning. Second, learning should take the sage expectations. The goal of learning is to learn how to do a good person, rather than only to learn the knowledge. For the current graduate education, how to get out of the utilitarian has become the core issue of education reform. The learning theory of the Confucian helps graduate students set up the correct outlook on life and values.
