Abstract:: On the practical and theoretical basis of reviewing the complicated living environment of China’s news and dissemination, ecology of news and dissemination as a discipline and its ecology of public opinion, and the development of the media industry in 2014, this paper makes a general survey of the major events in the development of the China’s media industry in 2014. By the review of related media’s or educational circles analysis of the actual situation of news and dissemination , it believes that hotspots in China’s news and dissemination frequently occur; media convergence develops in depth and in scope; media transformation starts to reform, common prosperity of media convergence and transboundary development; data media becomes a new form of news reports; discipline paradigm and innovation practice of discipline education, and internet governance become the new normal phenomenon; media ethics is still the topic; big data, fragmentation, internet thinking, and anti-corruption conform to the development of society; the media ecological changes, in turn, become variables of the era characteristics.
