- Abstract:
- Shaanxi is an important birth place of Chinese nation and a long term political center of ancient China. With field survey and literature analysis, the quantity and scales of imperial mausoleums, the locations and their construction in Shaanxi province are studied. Through the analysis, it can be concluded that imperial mausoleums in Shaanxi province have the characteristics, such as death treated as birth, great quantity, large scales, burying with great honors, different directions, majestic and tall configurations.
