Abstract:

In order to make clear the function and attributes of Qin terro-cotta warriors, the author, after the literature study and the on-the-spot survey, finds that the present 6 sayings of the functions of Qin terro-cotta warriors are not correct. He believes that the pits for Qin terro-cotta warriors is the typical military microcosm in the Qin Dynasty. Among which, No.1 pit is not round and sparse, but matrix; No.2 pit is not indented arrangement, but the temporary station of the military forces; and No.4 pit is not the left-chase mattress of the rear service forces, but the instant of array troups.
