Abstract:
Guo Xiang, a famous metaphysician in ancient China, shows his special idea of sage in his works annotation of Zhuang Zi. This idea mixes the thoughts of Confucianism and Daoism together. Sage is a person of achieving his disposition, a person of regarding other's desire as his desire, and a person of following the change of time. If a person has the disposition of sage, he would own the ability of transacting business. Guo Xiang's real idea mixes ethics with nature, he wishes that nature disposition can supplement and adjust Confucian ethical code.
