Abstract:
In order to discuss the ideologies in artistic creation of David Herbert Lawrence on the enlightment of the contemporary artists of China, this paper analyzes the ideologies and sources of Lawrence in his artistic creation. The analysis shows that great influence on his creation comes from such philosophers as Nietzche, Bergson and Floyd. Nietzsches irrationalist will and superman philosophy have strong effect on his creation, Bergsons living philosophy affects his living artistic ideology and Floyds mental analytical philosophy influences on his sexual complex in creation. All these indicates that the contemporary artists of China should upgrade their humanistic sentiments from the viewpoint of ideology.
